Happy Halloween and welcome to The October Connection Newsletter!!! :) If you have a topic you'd like me to dicuss, please do let me know! :) You, also, have the opportunity to submit to my "Dear Maggie" column below and get your questions answered!
The newsletter and readers are truly growing exponentially! I'm very happy to see! I'm also happy to announce that my Law of Attraction life story has been published in the book: "I Know The Secret" by Ananda and John McIntosh and over at Megan's website: Law of Attraction Station! Also, a nifty surprise is that I didn't know Ananda and John were going to use my photo as well as the other true story submitters photos as their book cover! Tickled Pink and Vibration Alignment
Have you ever observed a baby? They are just so darn cute and cuddly! Being a new mom for the second time I get the benefit of this experience again. Watching my beautiful baby girl enjoy life brings so many ah-ha moments to me. Some old and some new and some at higher levels of comprehension.
I'm noticing how she just loves to be touched, tickled, and receive cute butterfly kiss. (Those very light kisses.) She especially likes it on her face, neck and back of her head. She just scrunches her cute face up and enjoys every moment! She is starting to laugh now and that brings a new level of happiness too! Bella is a very happy-go-lucky child and we are so blessed! I've noticed that her and many baby's and children know how to enjoy life in the moment. They relish in the little pure enjoyments and sensations that bring immediate satisfaction. A bath is a very exciting happy time for our baby girl. Light touches to her skin sends her pure love and enjoyment. Her face lights up at the slight touch of a breeze. Those cute prickles or goose bumps you get from a light touch are so fun to see. These baby's…they know how to live! :) They live with what they've got and enjoy it. We can learn so much from such tiny wise beings. With every happy moment she lives she raises her vibration and those around her!
Have you noticed how when you are ON you are SO ON. Things just go perfectly and you are smoothly sailing through your day. Green lights all the way to work. Happy people flock to you. You emanate pure joy. And then there are those opposite days that we want to go by fast, but seem to take longer because we are resisting the negative moment rather than letting them flow in and then out. One bad thing happens and right on to the next.
These occurrences are what you have chosen as your experience. Absolutely EVERYTHING we see and experience in our lives we have attracted into our lives. We are 100% responsible for all experiences in our lives. Sometimes those not-so-wonderful things happen and if we ourselves ALLOW it, we can choose to feel the icky feelings and choose to keep on feeling them for probably FAR TOO long. One bad thing attracts another. UNLESS we learn from the first bad experience and then choose to be happy. Choose happiness, love, and gratitude in every moment. Then you'll notice things magically turning better and better. I have more tips below on how to get to that happier loving place.
So the idea here is that we each have a unique vibration. It's our soul signature. Our unique vibration is what attracts our experiences. How we FEEL is how we are vibrating. AKA feel GOOD and your frequency is at a higher vibratory rate to attract higher better more feeling good experiences. Do a daily, hourly check-in on how you're feeling. Keep feeling good! If you notice yourself in a negative spiral, stop. Breathe. Relax and know that everything works out perfectly. Breathe and try the releasing negative emotions tip below followed by one or many of the happy tips below!
Tip on releasing negative emotions
I just recently came across a most wonderful tip on releasing negative emotions that aligns perfectly with our theme this month. This is from a set of tapes called "Healing and Negative Emotion" Germane chanellings by Lyssa Royal Holt (#195 7/15/98 | c. 1999 Royal Research). As they mention and I fully agree: When saying you must feel your negative emotions and release them. We are not saying that if you are angry to go yell at the person you are angry at. No, that is a negative release approach to dealing with a negative emotion. A positive approach to releasing that negative emotion is to heal this within yourself. This approach I am going to explain is simple, yet very powerful and effective. Do not underestimate the power of this exercise because of its simplicity. When you have a negative emotion to release, take a moment to breathe. First breathe in slowly through your nose and then blow out through your mouth. As you breath out visualize dirty water flowing out of your heart. Breathe in, and then out, visualize dirty water coming/flowing out of your heart. Do this as many times as necessary till you feel you are cleared and feeling good.
Tips on feeling happy now and feeling good in the long run
- Do the gratitude dance! I've done this in work when I have had some real negative winners! I've gone into the bathroom, breathe in and out a few times very slowly, then maybe do some yoga stretches and finish it off with a wonderful gratitude dance. (<-- preferably in the mirror!) This got me smiling and laughing very fast! No questions just do it and you'll feel happier. And if it was a person that got you in a negative moment and you see them after this, think again to yourself in the mirror doing the gratitude dance and laugh at yourself! :) Smile and be free of their negative energies! (Better yet, see them doing the gratitude dance! This sends them happy energy and frees you from that negative attachment.)
- Exercise and eat right. Find something you enjoy for exercise and stick with it as often as you can. Come up with a routine and you're good to go. This helps your mind and body and soul! You commune with yourself in exercise. Eating right gives respect to your body and you feel better when you eat better foods. Foods that are not as processed are higher in vibration, therefore bringing that higher vibration into your body. (This one is still a challenge for me, but I'm getting there!) Important to note! Don't feel guilty if you miss one day of exercise or if you ate that extra piece of cake. Guilt ways down your vibration and brings you down (making you want to slip up even more so in your workout & eating better goals). Just know that everything is perfect. That your body is perfect. No matter what you do, you can even do the exercise in your mind and trick your body! Your brain doesn't know if what you are remembering or visualizing is actually happening or if you are imagining and feeling it. So have at it and see the results in your body too!
- Get out in nature and rejuvenate! As you are out in nature, you are grounding and centering. Feel the loving energy flow from the Earth to you and vice versa. Thank the trees for their common destiny with us. As we breathe, they breathe, as they breathe, we breathe. Wonderful how that works!
- Rest! Getting enough sleep and rest. If you do not take that time to rejuvenate (as I mentioned above) you will not be honoring your body, mind and spirit and become out of balance. Raise your vibrations and have a regular sleeping schedule and rest time throughout your day.
- Meditate. Whether it's a visualization of your sacred place (garden, ocean, red rocks, etc.) or a time where you just breathe and be, take that time. Do it for 5-30 minutes a day or more if you have the time! Do this smack dab in the middle of a stressful moment. Walk away and breathe. See yourself happier, calmer and at peace.
- Look for the good in all. A Daily Om last week reminded me that when we look for negativity we will find it. Conversely, if we look for the positive we most assuredly will find that as well. Change your perception and look for good things often. Ask questions like: Which sensation feels the best in my body right now? Your mind will search for the positive answer to your positive question. Look around you and ask yourself where all the good is! It's there and start your gratitude list naturally! :) We are creating our reality every second of every day, so doing this continues to create more good in your life!
Frequency Visualization
I received a visualization from my Angels today that may assist you in raising your vibrations. Once in a calm and centered state of mind imagine an Angel spinning a magical healing rope of a shining color – like golden, ice blue, sparkling purple – whichever you are drawn to at the time. See this spun around and around by an Angel being over your head and long enough to spiral all around your body. Over and over again. Spinning so fast, gaining in speed so that you almost don’t see the lines defined anymore. Creating an oval shape around your entire body and aura. You hear the spinning as like higher frequency hum. This is an exercise that can raise your vibration. Feel your vibrations rising during this, as well as the protection it provides. You are protected and loved.
I want to finish this article off with my Happy facts list!
Make yourself happy with these Happy Facts:
- Laughing hard for 20 seconds is comparable to exercising for 15 minutes!! Also, laughing for 15 minutes a day helps you shed 5 pounds a year! The energy it takes to laugh for 15 minutes is equivalent to walking a half a mile! Laughing induces your endorphins and happy emotions, as well as releases calories and works your tummy muscles! :)
- Raising your arms in the air (exposing your under arms) makes you happy!
- Smiling uplifts your mood, even if at first you don’t want to, then the higher mood takes you over.
- Remember something happy and really being in that moment will lift your spirits.
- The sun feeds your body and soul, uplifting your endorphins and your happy emotions. Sitting in the sun for at least 10 minutes is a great boost!
- Follow your dreams! If you’re following your dreams and desires you are more at ease with life and yourself and happy!

Message from My Seven Angels
This month’s message is a little longer than I had anticipated. However, I’ve learned to go with what I receive and this month the Angel’s have much to say! :)
Many shifts are going on right now. Assistant and love is always with us. Angels are assisting us ever more so. Know that each and every one of you deserves your own special love and assistance and ARE receiving just that. I get a cute message saying ‘Don't you worry your pretty little head over it.’ Lot's going on in the background. All is well. The Angels are busy little bee’s over there taking care of divine timing for us. They receive your vibration level and assure us that the more we feel Gratitude and Love the more in line with our requests we become. And seemingly the faster our requests are answered. Because while in this higher vibrational state we are also requesting and receiving only what’s for our highest and best, good. Remember always: Divine assistance from angels is taking place.
Have you ever watched the movie City of Angels? I receive a portion of this movie as accurate. The Angels are watching their “charges” (that’s us) and give us love, healing, divine intervention and positive loving energy. There is a part in the movie I am especially shown now. There is an Angel standing over an Air Traffic Controller, he was stressing and the Angel whispers a thought to him "breathe" while gently touching his shoulder and assists him with peaceful energy for him to do his job. The closer we are to peace the easier we receive their help. Just like an Air Traffic Controller the Angels send assistance to us in divine timing with many situations in our lives: from running into the right person at the right time, to “accidentally” missing a train in order to miss having a horrific accident. Most of the time we don’t even know these divine occurrences are happening until maybe years later when we look back. And other times we may never know.
For today, simplicity is the key. Keep your lives simple. Free. It's about feeling more and doing less. Less effort, but more love. Love is high in vibration. Live your life now, not later. Take time to do less. And feel more. Take one thing off your to-do list today. Either stop doing this one thing or modify it. A very simple example: I have straightened my hair for years. I have naturally curly hair and usually have not liked how it looked on me, so I would take the time to blow dry and straighten my hair. A whopping 20 minutes every time. So one day a few months ago I decided to just leave it curly. Usually when I do this, I'll put it up in a clip. This time I left it down. I liked how it came out on that particular day just leaving it as is. So I thought mmmm maybe I'll try it for a couple days and see if I like it. Every day it resonated more with me. So I have continued this more simplistic morning. Getting a few extra winks of sleep or meditation and even having a few extra precious moments with my family before heading off to work.
Now is a time of Rejuvenation and relaxation. This seems more challenging right now, as we seem to be getting hit more with things. However, the more you sit with it and take time, the easier these are to handle and in the coming months this will diminish and balance out. Relax and be! Spend your time more wisely. Just be. Less doing and more enjoying! I'm finding that I've gotten busier and busier the past month, but I have been doing what I can to stay in my calm, in my joy, in my flow with every moment as it comes.
Recover. Breath, as in Aerobics and interval training. In my workouts with Denise Austin, her method is to do a few minutes of cardio fast, then slow it down a bit, then back to hard core cardio and slow again. The few minutes of recovery gives you a moment to breathe. Your body receives more oxygen throughout. Then when you go back into it the exercise you benefit far greater than had you done straight hard core cardio with no breaks. You’ll also have more stamina to do more. This is the perfect analogy in life. When you are always on the “Go, go, go” and you don’t give yourself time to sit with the action and you, instead, keep moving thinking you will accomplish more. What you are really doing is just running full steam ahead but getting no where. You get exhausted faster and can’t do nearly as much as you would like. You will also be further and further away from your divine guidance because you will be totally into your activity rather than receiving messages from your Higher Self or Angels. You must give yourself time to recover. You DESERVE it.
Even if you have a full plate and you just can’t see end in site. That’s most assuredly when you need to stop, re-assess and breathe. Messages will come to you. You have time to truly visualize/imagine how you want something to turn out. THIS is where you will create/manifest your reality without having to take on too much in the “action” mode. Again less doing and more enjoying! Doing this also aligns you more with the Yin or feminine energies that are coming in now. Having balance in both yin (feminine/moon) and yang (masculine/sun) energies contributes to raising your vibrations. So imagine the life you desire. First you see it, feel it, be it in your mind/soul/spirit. Then you receive those experiences in life. If you are too busy to sit with this, then you are just creating more things that keep you too busy to relax and enjoy what you desire. (Something to note here, the Divine will take it upon themselves to put up roadblocks when you are not in balance and not taking the time you deserve to stay aligned in your true self. These roadblocks start off subtle and if we don’t listen they will get stronger until we do take action or are forced to take action depending on our destiny!)
Once you’ve had a moment to recharge regularly in a balanced way, then you can Charge ahead at full steam and go further than you even dreamed - greater awakening to energy – love.
Remember we can ask for direction and the Angels will point you to the way. We might not have our direction meters on full blast right now and that's where we can always ask for direct clarification from our Angels! The Angels love you unconditionally and no question is too small. You deserve their love and assistance. They can help if we only ask! I want to learn my angels names, how many are there, etc. Where do I start?

Answer:
Dear Nutmeg,
My favorite subject! Some basics: We are all provided wonderful Angel guides in our lives. Some are with us throughout our entire lives and some come and go depending on what lessons we are currently learning. And even still others will come if we do the asking. I have heard that we are given anywhere from 2-7 Angels that stay with us always. As for me, I received 7 that I like to call “My Seven Angels”. Not that they are mine or I own them, for they are only here to assist as they so love to do. But it feels nice to know they are here for me. Just as I feel you have probably 5 or more angels with you right now. I don’t think there is a set amount of Angels per individual. I feel each person has a set amount depending on the unique individual. And the amount of Angels you have does not depend on the “potency” of information or energy assistance received either. Just as we are unique individuals, so too, are Angels. They have a hierarchy of energy. There are Angels and then there is a higher vibrational set of Angels called ArchAngels (such as: ArchAngel Michael, etc.).
We are also afforded a Master Spiritual Guide (or two or three or more) that is a human that has crossed over prior to our incarnation. This person evolves through our experience on the planet while guiding us in our lives. They have a unique empathetic connection to us because they’ve experienced at least one life here on Earth. So we do have many varieties of assistants to enable our highest growth on this planet. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if our guides are “Spiritual Guides” or “Angel Guides”. However, I’ve come to feel that it does not matter where the guidance comes from, just as long as we receive that true divine guidance. Since we are humans it helps our “ego” mind to attach a name or description to what we are receiving the guidance from. So we may feel we receive guidance from God, the Divinity, our Angels, Spiritual Guides, or Multi-dimensional beings, etc. It’s what we align with in our vibrational frequency at that time. It seems in the end it’s all one Source, only filtering down to us to receive what is useful for our evolvement. I hope that makes sense! I am always continuing to evolve in my interpretation and comprehension of this. And you will too. You must in the end go with what feels right. What I’ve also noticed is, what is the simplest feels true for me and works the best for me. Go with what feels right for you.
Now, how to contact those beautiful beings we call Angels and receive a name. :) A name is just a sound with a vibration attached to it in order for us to connect to them. If you feel a name is needed, then a name will easily be provided. I have a Master Spiritual Guide named Carmen and since then have received contact with my Angels. I don’t have a name for just one, because as with Abraham (a variety of multidimensional beings channeled by Esther Hicks) they seem to come forth together with their message and having a name for each did not feel right. They are one being of 7 beings that come to me with messages for all. So they hold the name of My Seven Angels.
To start, get into a meditative state. Set the stage for yourself somewhere quiet and peaceful. If you are able to have this very same place as a daily meditation place and time: that is most beneficial to connection. In my August Newsletter I talk more about meditation and getting into that meditative state as well as how I first connected with My Seven Angels during a movement meditation. Take a few deep breaths and bring yourself to a calm state. Some people find it helpful to chant “Om” over and over again out loud or even in their head. This is one of many varieties to calm yourself and meditate to a vibration frequency in sound. To keep it simple, just breathe. If you are a visual person you may want to see yourself at the ocean or in a garden of flowers next to a beautiful creek. Water is soothing and spiritual. To simply receive a name, just ask and take the first name that comes to you. That is the name you can call to in order to connect with your angels.
My suggestion to you is to meditate regularly, daily. (Remember meditating isn’t all calm and peaceful, sometimes it’s very active with messages and emotional releasing.) The more you meditate the higher your vibration will naturally go. The higher your vibration the easier it is to reach your angels and guides in order to receive any messages more easily that you would like to receive. At first doing it the same time every day in the same location is helpful to set up your subconscious mind and let your guides know when is best to reach you. When you first connect you will occasionally have some emotional experiences. You will feel such deep love that you may cry. Just let it all out and feel their unconditional love. This is a strong and beautiful connection. Every meditation and connection are unique.
Another option if this doesn’t come as fast as you would like is to ask for messages and name(s) in your dreams. Before you go to sleep, ask for your Angels name. A name should be given during the dream. Or you will hear this name over and over again throughout your day in your daily experiences and should take the subtle hint. Synchronicities abound as your connection deepens. If you can’t remember your dream the next morning, keep trying. Keep a journal next to your bed and before fully waking up; write every visual and impression down that you remember. The more you do this, the easier you will remember your dreams. This is one excellent way to receive answers to many of life’s questions, as well as connecting with your Angels and Guides.
