Happy May!! This month we have the rare opportunity to experience the second of a double Scorpio moon. The last time this happened was 1,000 years ago. "Scorpio is the  zodiac sign that stands at the doorway to the unseen. This is an INCREDIBLE window open for manifestation and transmutation of energy, since Scorpio moves between realms, and can transmute poison to nectar. " ~unknown (Posted from a group I belong to.) Isn't that amazing. This second full moon will be May 19th!

Synchronistically, I am able to send this newsletter out prior to the last of the 10 Webcasts with Eckhart Tolle and Oprah discussing Eckhart's new book "A New Earth". The last Web event occurs this Monday, May 5th. It's very powerful to come together with millions to discuss awakening. They start the show with 30-45 seconds of silence in being in the present moment now. A synergy in energy occurs when millions are doing this at the same time! I hope to experience this with you Monday! I will be there!

I am doing something different with the "Dear Maggie" Column this month. In reading Eckhart's new book, a question arose in me about Energy workers and I was intrigued to find out his thoughts. Although I do not know that they will get to my question amongst the plethora of other questions, I posed this question to my husband, Don, as well. His excellent insights from his own profound experiences and wisdom is something I felt drawn to share with everyone here and now. Enjoy!

Be Focused

I came across a license plate recently that said "BFocused". This car was parked next to mine during a time when I asked for a sign. I realized the message is remarkable. Be focused when you are needing clarity. As you focus in the present moment you align with the focus of your very thoughts/emotions and way of being. If you can continue to always remain present, alert and aware in the present moment, you will always have exactly what you need when you need it. You will no longer be thinking of the past or hoping for the future, as what you need right now is always in the present moment. So as you focus on your desire, you will then RELEASE it to the Universe, ALLOWING the Universe to send those experiences to you in divine timing. As you let this go to the Universe you then can continue to focus living in the present moment enjoying life right now. Your may even plan a daily practice to have this focused time on an intention but then practice releasing it once the energy intention is complete. This is a great meditation time as well.

17 Seconds

The message of focusing keeps coming back to me. Reminders from Abraham-Hicks of focusing your energy on one intention for 17 seconds is enough! But there is focus in those 17 seconds! Abraham: "...Within 17 seconds of focusing on something, a matching vibration becomes activated. And now, as that focus becomes stronger and the vibration becomes clearer, the Law of Attraction will bring to you more thoughts that match. At this point, the vibration will not have much attraction power, but if you maintain your focus longer, the power of the vibration will become further-reaching. And if you manage to stay purely focused upon any thought for as little as 68 seconds, the vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation begins." This is to focus on your desire with no conflicting thoughts or behavior in the present moment.

Mantras

I am a fan of Seed Mantras and Switchwords. These two elements add intention with allowing. Seed Mantras are shortened longer version of mantras. Switchwords are words that are in the English language developed by James Mangan's who found these words had a deeper meaning when said (preferably out loud) a certain number of times. Usually there is a string of words you will put together to chant. Saying them once to even 28 times can show results. These have been tried and tested with positive results. Your core beliefs will assist in the profound results as well. As you focus on one mantra you are in a state of energy and allowing. You take the time each day to state these mantras or switchwords with a focused energy. The energy of focus but allowing is key. They flow into each other. As you chant aloud your mind is on the Mantra. Mantra, Dzikirs and Switchwords are techniques that assist in holding pure thought (aka your intention, aka energy).

An example of one Mantra:

Heart Sutra Mantra Gata Gate, paragate parasa?gate bodhi svaha
(Sounds like: Gatay, Gatay, Para gatay, para sum gatay, bodhi swaha)

This is the mantra of transcendent knowledge, the mantra of deep insight, the unsurpassed mantra, the incomparable mantra, the mantra which calms all suffering should be known as truth, for there is no deception.

An example of a string of Switchwords:

Together Divine Guard

Together is our connection to all that is. Divine brings the Divine into your mantra of switchwords. Guard is for protection. As you say these together they invoke an energy of connection and protection from the Divine.

Breathe: Most Important of All

Breathe... I've seen profound results in just breathing through your intention and feeling it. Breathing very deeply in and very slowly out. Become aware of your breath and most especially at the tail end of your out-breath. There is a stillness and energy here. Focus on your breath for a time. Feel the energy body within you expand. Breathe and then your focus is on the intention while allowing the energy to flow to you and through you. You are focusing only on the present moment. In this present moment your power resides. When in this present state of mind you can pinpoint and focus on your desired goal. If you are intrigued with more about the present moment, I strongly recommend Eckhart Tolle’s book “A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s Purpose”.

There are many methods to being focused in the now. Choose what feels right and most connected for you in each moment. Be focused and enjoy the divine energy flowing to you always. Remember what you focus upon expands. So focus on the positive elements of love, peace and joy as you intend!

Message from My Seven Angels

Say What You Mean to Say

This Angel channeling starts with a song that is played in my mind over and over again. Just the chorus: "Say what you need to say" by John Mayer.

The message: Say what you mean to say. Say what you need to say. Now is the time to say everything that you need to say and what you truly mean to say. It is not the time to beat around the bush or use round-about ways to hopefully say what you mean to say. Speak your truth, be in your integrity and faith. It is okay to be vulnerable.

In your vulnerability is also your strength to show that we are vulnerable and human. Humans have weaknesses as you are willing to work on and ask for assistance there is innocence, wisdom and purity. In your vulnerability you are seen as the truest light form you are and others will relate in new levels with your genuine openness.

To be in your truth is to be aware of your thoughts and emotions in every moment. Letting them flow in and out. Not repressing them with thoughts of saving them for later. Release these thoughts and emotions in whatever healthy means possible. If you need to write them down, do that. If you need to wait just a few hours for privacy and know then that you will give yourself and your soul time to heal and release.

Breathing techniques, exercise and being with nature are profound methods for releasing and reconnecting with the Divine. In your truth with how you feel about situations there is tact involved. But do speak your truth in the moment you feel it as best you can. If the moment is asking you to only speak this truth to yourself, that is okay. As you do you will be surprised at the beautiful revelations that flow through you to others and from them to you. As you release with non-jugdment you are in the flow. Amazing things open up more easily than before. You feel more at peace with yourself and your life as a whole. You are living in the moment. Breathe and be at peace!

Remember, the Angels are with you and send you lots and lots of love every day!

Dear Don

QUESTION

Dear Don,

I am an Energy Worker as well as a Spiritual Teacher (outside of may day job). My question regards a comment Eckhart mentions about Healing. (Paraphrasing here:) The comment was that when you are healing someone or thinking you are healing someone you are in ego. I agree! If you are thinking that you yourself are healing another, then that is the ego in its fullest form.

My question is what is your understanding or level of knowing regarding the energy workers that regard themselves as simply the channel by which the Divine flows through them to the person coming to them for a session? Those, like me, that not only hold the space for the energy transference to take place, but also feel this energy flows through them to the person. I also know that the person must be there in a receptive and open state in order to receive and "heal", therefore also contributing to the "healing" themselves. (By saying healing I mean raising their own vibration to open up to the true 100% perfectly healthy person they are within and always have been.)

This question also extends out to those in the mediumship field, etc. Is it that you feel Eckhart is only simply speaking to those that feel they are doing the healing (ego) and not the others that are simply following their true calling and being the channel for higher vibrational energy to flow through (whether it's pure divine energy or a soul with a message to pass on)??

I may already be answering my own question here. However, I feel that when I raise my energy (connecting to the energies I connect to), I am in a beautiful blissful state and ego-less. This state comes to me more and more and feel this state will and is continuing to grow as I awaken. Thank you so very much! I look forward to hearing your thoughts! :)

Dear Maggie,

Basically, what I think he is going to say and what I agree with is that you ARE the "channel" in the the 3D and 4D worlds, but what that really comes down to is that God, you, and the client are all components of one whole. The ego is the only thing that separates. I got a HUGE syncronicity from that movie “The Fountain” last night. Even if you only watch the last 10 or 15 minutes, it wraps the truth about EVERYTHING up. It does it mostly visually and doesn't explain it, but if you get it, it's really powerful.

The message was that the main character spent lifetimes "feeding the tree" trying to find ways to achieve immortality so that he can meet his goal of being with the girl, Izzy, who was also the Queen of Spain when they first created their bond (in a past life he goes to). They thought that if they could unlock those secrets, they would become Adam and Eve in the next world. I feel the Adam and Eve/Tree of Life/Apple analogies are important. What was holding them back was the fear of death and trying to find ways to cheat it. Every time he got close, it was taken away, thereby causing more pain because of the separation of the ego, whereby there was arrogance in trying to find away around the natural order of things. Death is part of the cycle of life, which really only exists in the physical world and in the ego. It is a part of the nature of reality. Dealing with this dichotomy is what brings wisdom.

Once he finally gave in and surrendered to the situation, as did Izzy, is when "The Truth" was revealed. This realization represents the "death" of the old thinking, and with it, he becomes enthralled in ecstasy (Kundalini experience) and drinks the nectar from the Tree of Life, through which he becomes One. As he digests his "nectar/knowledge" his physical body becomes engulfed in the ground and sprouts flowers as "The Tree" becomes huge. Simultaneously, his soul is "elevated" and he becomes One with "The Light" and he ascends out of the sphere containing the tree, through a tunnel of light while in his own sphere (all in Yoga pose).

Suddenly the rest of the universe, as Izzy dies in the modern, world also dies and compresses into a single point (which they symbolize with the star in Orion with which Izzy had obsessed–also contain the Orion Nebula where the "sphere" with the tree had stationed itself–and as Izzy associated that point in the sky with herself), then explodes into The Big Bang, completing the cycle of rebirth. (A really cool visual as they roll the credits, the screen goes from completely smooth light, then patterns in dark swirls which become less chaotic and more ordered in the manner in which the "ether" cools and form stars slowly.)

The syncronicity is in the message about surrendering the ego. It really tells the message about what we discussed regarding what the Tree of Life/Knowledge actually represents and what embracing it's truth actually means. To accept Oneness and healing, we must surrender to our ego and accept its lessons of separation. Fighting it is a contradiction and causes the separation by being aware of it. It is part of who we are, and in accepting our small place in the universe and accepting that we must die in this world as egocentric mortals brings us closer to God in that we accept and embrace the natural order of things. Through this knowledge and experience comes wisdom, but also the "feeling" of our true nature outside and in this realm, which is Oneness with God.

Long story short, I think that Eckhart may say that although you may be channeling and the client may be open, what is flowing "through us" is actually a part of us in that we are all part of one source, separate, but Whole.

In "surrendering" to ego or being aware of it didn't mean following it's negative patterns or trappings, but as Eckhart said, acknowledge it and take responsibility in your Present state. This is why God gives us Free Will :) We must ascend of our own volition to return to the vibration of God energy.
