"Hello... I just wanted to let you know that although I haven't looked too much into your website, from what I have seen it is absolutely amazing. I am in the beginning stages of my spiritual "awakening", if you will, and know that I will be spending quite some time on your site. Don't Know. Don't Care.

During this Holiday season it is so easy to get caught up the hustle and bustle of obtaining gifts and running errands for the next holiday party. There are so many who have more stress and anxiety around this season that is supposed to be happy, peaceful and in celebration for our Source Connection. So now more than ever it is so important to come back to your center. To live in the present moment of stillness and love. It is so very important because it can be so easily lost when we are constantly worrying about what we will get for whom, what we can afford, who will be hurt if you don't get the "perfect" gift, how we will make the kids happy while still including others in on the fun, if we will have a job to sustain us, if we will get a job for some, who has crossed over and will no longer be with us in this reality, and this holiday bustle compounds the "usual" stress to a higher level.

It's imperative to get out of the past and stop worry about the future. Start living for right now. Right now, in this very moment there is peace. The stillness is with you if you only allow it to be. Take a deep breath right now and close your eyes. Inhale and exhale. What do you feel? Stillness? Peace? Love? It is this space within you that is always within you that no one and no thing can ever touch nor take away. It is your connection to the Divine/God/Universe. It is you.

In order to assist you this Holiday season, I want to share the gift of presence through meditation. I would like to share a meditation method that was shown to me by a Zen Master at the Providence Zen Center in Cumberland, Rhode Island during a one day retreat. This retreat was a six hour Zen meditation. This was the longest meditation I’ve experienced in one sitting thus far.

We would sit in the lotus position or with legs crossed for 20 minutes in meditation and then do a walking meditation for 10-20 minutes. Then sit for 20 minutes and do a walking meditation for 10-20 minutes. And the cycle continued until complete. At sporadic times during the sitting meditation the meditation leader would walk around with a stick and ask that you lower your head to the floor exposing your back if you would like to receive a tap on your back. It is the idea that this will adjust your mind when needed as well as your body to stay present during the meditation. I’m sure there are other subtle benefits as well.

A short time into the meditation we started to take turns going in to the Zen Master to have a discussion with him or to simply sit with him for however long we felt necessary. Some folks had long debates about spiritual or life issues. Others chose not to go in. When I went in it was about three hours into the meditation. All the questions I had thought I might ask the Zen Master went away. I no longer required answers. So I didn’t have much to talk about. He gave me a great meditation tip to keep me going through the last half of my meditation retreat. He said to simply chant a mantra in my mind coordinated with my breath. Breathe in, “Don’t Know”, Breathe out, “Don’t Care”. Inhale-Don't Know. Exhale-Don't Care. Don’t know, don’t care, don’t know, don’t care, don’t know, don’t care.

This is a wise mantra. The idea is that you are not in the yin and yang of life; the ups and downs; but rather view the experiences from a calm neutral place. It's not bad. It's not good. It just is. The more I learn the more I realize I know nothing. The Divine is all-knowing. So leave it up to the Divine. Freedom. Not caring about what’s going on around you does not say you do not have compassion for others experiences or the issues happening in your life. Instead it is more of a way of accepting what is going on as Divine. Because everything truly is Divine and happens for a reason. You are simply observing in a neutral but peaceful place of being. Don’t know. Don’t care.

"There is no waiting for something to happen, no point in the future to get to. All you have ever longed for is here in this moment, right now." ~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer

I've been on the meditation path for a decade now and the more I meditate the more I connect with the Divine/God. Meditation is my connection and brings me back to presence. I remember that I am now in a more constant state of meditation aka Presence/Stillness/Magic/Now. Today the sky was my meditation. the blue star-filled sky that changed to dusk and a beautiful sunrise with pinks and blues to yellow and blue. So magical. A stillness now always felt comes back to me during these moments. Sometimes my state of being wavers but the meditation practice brings me back to magical awareness...to "myself", the stillness within...to my connection to the Divine. Whatever your method the more you can dedicate a daily practice to connecting to Source the more you will feel that you have always been and always will be connected. It is the gift of presence. When you share this with yourself it is felt by all those around you.

So for this Holiday season. Give this meditation a try. Or simply sit in quiet peace for even five minutes a day and you will feel the benefits a thousand fold. The immediate benefits are clarity and relaxation. There are striking long-term health benefits from meditation as well. Breath awareness is another great meditation that you can do anywhere. Just notice and be aware of your breath, the inhale and the exhale. Your breath is always in the present moment so becoming aware of your breath pulls you in the Now. And if you're in a winter season, you can also enjoy the benefits of a beautiful snowfall. Get outside, breathe in the crisp air, and watch, and listen. If there is serene snow where you live, enjoy the snow as each unique beautiful snowflake falls. There is a unique stillness in the air when you can get outside and be with a fresh snowfall. Nature takes you back to your true essence. Each drop of nature brings me back to center and peace. It is my wish that each of you receive the gift of stillness and peace this holiday season.

Enjoy, live, laugh and love always!

Peace and Bliss be with you ,

Dear Maggie

QUESTION

Dear Maggie,

"I love your upbeat energy and your information! I found your link quite by accident (although I know there are no coincidences in life)......actually I was doing a search on the web a few days ago for "healers" as I had the flue, and the ho' oponopono link and Dr. Len came up. I was truly fascinated. Tonight, while doing a search on Morrnah, I came across your link and am delighted to have found you too! I feel blessed to have found this information. It is very new to me though, and I am trying to understand it. May I ask your advice? I have a few questions. I am in a bad way right now - a contract ended abruptly and I am in desperate need of manifesting a job - to bring in an income urgently. I need to be guided to the right job. I do understand the four phrases (I Love You, I am sorry, Please forgive me, and Thank you), and will say these phrases over and over again to myself when I am depressed, fearful, angry or just plain afraid. But, I don't quite understand the eraser technique. What is it's purpose - and how do you do it? Is the technique just tapping the end of a pencil - tapping the erase onto something or someone and saying something positive? Does this action magically transmute negative energy and allow good energy to get activated?

1. Would you suggest I use the eraser to tap the screen of my laptop before responding to a job ad and sending my email? Would you also suggest I tap my wallet so more money is available to me, and even tap my bank account?
2. My creditors are calling daily now. Would you tap the overdue paper bills (received in the mail) with the eraser - and say the four phrases? When on the phone to the creditors, would you silently say the four phrases?
3. Do you say the four phrases for anything? I am earnestly trying to grow my hair back to it's beautiful 'look' (my hairdresser cut far too much off recently). Would I say the 4 phrases, starting with, 'Dear hair - I love you, I love you, I love you..............etc?
4. Also, I am interested in a man but don't know exactly what he feels for me. Would you suggest I say his name, "Dear (name of fellow) - and the four phrases? Or would you say something else?

I want so much to understand the processes as I know they can be used in every single area of our lives, on a daily basis and in our daily interactions with all we come in contact with. To truly understand the teachings, I know I have to take some

Thanks so very much for your time, Maggie,
I love you
Thank you
Blueberries and ginger snaps
Love Lynn"

Dear Lynn,

For the readers who do not know of the Ho'oponopono method: Ho'oponopono is a clearing and cleansing method that gets you to the Zero State. In Hawaiian: Hoo means cause and ponopono means perfection. Ho'oponopono is the ancient Hawaiian healing method that heals and transmutes/cleans all energies with current and past situations and people, all the way down the ancestry lines, yours and others throughout the *entire* Universe. All you need to do is say the four key phrases: "I'm sorry, Please Forgive me, I Love You, Thank you". At first you might not feel a thing. It matters not, the work is still being done. Eventually, you really *will* feel a difference in yourself and in others around you. You will have cleansed your life, continuing to cleanse, and brought yourself into a better frame of mind, body *and* soul!

It's about taking full 100% responsibility for your actions, as well as those in your experience. You are only cleaning YOURSELF (as we are all one) and your reactions to anything and everything you come in contact with (especially those things that cause you an emotional charge)! Might be hard to wrap your head around this, but.... Whatever you experience in your life, right down to the newspaper ad you just read, you've attracted to yourself. The Law of Attraction is in perfect and divine order in everyone's life! If something is in your life that you are still somehow emotionally charged about, you attracted it and can transmute this energy by cleaning. (See below.) This is where you take full responsibility and clean on transmuting/healing this program/memory. Clean Clean Clean. As you clean on this issues, you are cleaning yourself of this memory that transmutes and cleans throughout the entire Universe. It's your peace when you are sad, it's your Joy when you are happy, it's your calm in the storm, it's everything and nothing/zero all at once!

Now, on to the question at hand. The eraser technique is just another variation of the original with simply saying the four phrases (I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I Love You, Thank you). We all know that in life we get bored and complacent with the same old, same old. And if something grows stagnant it becomes rote and doesn't have the desired affect because we are simply going through the motions instead of being in that present moment. Keeping it new, keeping it fresh spices up the variety and you can see a whole new perspective or take on things. This assists you in remaining present to the moment always. This is something that has been ringing in my ears recently as well so I pass this along to you as well.

"A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions." ~ Oliver Wendell Holme

So this is why I am guessing these other techniques popped up in recent years. My opinion is, if the original is working perfectly, keep it simple and stick with it. Only when you feel it's lost its luster you may move into other variations. Or maybe you try it out and see how it resonates with you. If you resonate great. If not, don't do it. Or maybe you don't do it right now but it may resonate at a later time. It's entirely up to your own individual vibration and resonance with it.

You really only need to come to the present moment of now; stillness. And the phrases may allow you to do this. They bring you to Love, which is NOW. The zero point. They bring you to Gratitude, which is NOW. They remove the blockages that keep you out of the now through forgiveness of the self and moving into the love and appreciation vibration.

The eraser technique is actually very simple. You are using a pencil with an eraser that has been infused (via your intention) with the four Ho'oponopono phrases (I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I love you, Thank you). This pencil is then tapped on whatever it is you are wanting to be blessed" with the power of the four phrases. You can also say the phrases while tapping. So this could be a book you have written that you are hoping to get published. You will tap the book. It could be a project you are working on at work. You will tap the papers you are working on for the project or the computer that holds the information. It could be the TV where you see your child on TV practice his first try at being a news anchor. It could be the refrigerator where you are wanting to bless the food, the cravings you need to release, or the need to stock up on more food and having the blessings to do so, etc. Whatever you wish. It can even be a body part or your whole body if you are wishing for healing. And again this eraser is simply a point of focus for you to zero in on the desired goal to be blessed. You are "erasing" the blockages. It is a subconscious thing you are bringing to the forefront as well. It's a powerful tool for many. I hope this is making sense!

So yes, for your number one question: Tap the bills that are needing to be replenished. Come into a state of gratitude and knowing that these will be paid or paid off however the means.

And number two: Yes, say the phrases while on the phone with the creditors. This is something you can do by phone and even in person with a challenging person or any person! Yes, you can say the phrases anytime, anywhere. Sometimes you may be simply drawn to open your heart and feel that loving energy flow through you to another and to anyone you come in contact with. This is enough. And other times the phrases assist in that beautiful energy.

Number three: I've had this very same experience. I was not a happy camper when I came out with short hair. To me I looked more like a boy because I am so used to seeing my hair long. I know my hair needed this cut but I asked that it not be trimmed more than a couple inches. Instead 5-6 inches were gone. But now my hair is even longer than it was the day it was cut and looking much more healthy. Another tip I took on after this day was to allow my hair time to breathe in its natural state. I was constantly straightening it with hair dryers and curling irons. Thereby not allowing it to stay in its natural curly state. So the more I stopped processing my hair with products and heating agents, the faster my hair grew back. So yes, I would look straight in the mirror and stay the phrases to the beautiful hair. Give it some appreciation. Know that it is divine. Know that maybe your hair needed this extra cut for more health and now it will grow back with a vengeance in excellent health and luster! Bring your vibration to vibrant, healthy, long flowing hair. Know also there are things that can be updated in your diet that will allow for better growth. This could be another sign for a change in diet that assists in this goal and for overall health in your physical body.

And lastly number four: The man you are interested in. It's always nice to say the four phrases to the man (or anyone) you are interested in. It is a blessing. It is coming back to center, removing blockages and sending love. It's all good! These phrases may assist with an intention of clearing up any confusion and opening pathways to conversation and communication that will answer your questions. Take your time and see where it leads. :) Know it is all divine. If he is meant to be with you the communication will come. You may even start the conversation. :) And know that if he is not, that is Divine as well. There will be another. It's always for our highest and best, good.

I have not participated in any courses with Ho'oponopono. I have read Joe's book and participated in a yahoo group for a few months. Other than that this method was something I practiced from within. You may or may not need to have a seminar in order to feel better connected. It is always within you no matter what. Group energy is nice, so there are tremendous benefits from joining in, in a way that works for you. So do what feels best!

There are several other methods that I've included on the page about Ho'oponopono on my website found here.

So my point is, if the four phrases are enough, then keep it simple. If you'd like to spice it up, spice it up. It is your unique process that gets you to zero point. The idea of course is to remove all blockages and come back to center with your truest state of being, which is Divine! Blessings and Happy Holidays,

Blessings to you!
Maggie

Favorite Books, photos and/or Videos of the Month:
I've embraced video land and had to face facts that most of my time is spend on you tube and watching little video clips online. So with that said, I must include a favorite video from time to time sometimes in place of books. Enjoy!

Video #1: Poo Chi
Hahaha! Hilarious. If you're into Yoga you will love this. And even if you're not!

Video #2: Deer and Cat
So cute! I thought this was perfect for sharing this Christmas season. :)

Video #3: Lion King Spiritual Commentary

Favorite Spiritual Movie of the Month:

Straight Talk
with Dolly Parton
Dolly tells it like it is to those who call in to her radio show (a job she "accidentally" fell into). This is an entertaining movie. But sends such a strong message of coming out of your shell, releasing baggage that holds you down from your true self as well as being and living an authentic truthfilled life.
